無題 Untitled

自2022年發展至今，《海景系列》作品已成為蔡亞克遊歷歐洲、亞洲與美洲多地的感官檔案。對他而言，記憶往往不是精確的客觀細節，而是那時的濕度、光線與色彩溫度。深受詩人里爾克（Rainer Maria Rilke）關於「內在空間」的啟發，蔡亞克將繪畫視為一種私密的吞吐——外在世界被身體吸收，與記憶攪拌交織，最終在畫布上凝結。內在與外在的界線在此消解，繪畫不再是記錄風景，而是記錄世界如何被身體吸收、再由情感重新吐露的過程。

展覽以《無題》為名，源於對「內在空間」本質的探索。內在空間本身是一個「無意義」的初始場域，它不預設符號與定義，唯有透過個人的發現、觀察與感受，才得以被逐步建構與賦予靈魂。作品從低沉而細緻的灰調到明豔濃烈，呈現出情緒被稀釋與轉化後的質地。那些無法被言語精確抵達的感官層次，在此找到了棲居之所。

蔡亞克將海洋視為一種液態的地景，它是具體卻又難以捉摸的存在。透過日記式的微觀觀察，蔡亞克試圖讓這些流動、易逝的經驗暫時停留。這不僅是創作者對時間變形的紀錄，更是為觀者提供的一段「慢下來的時間」。邀請觀者進入這片由感受建構的寂靜之地，重新審視自身的感受力，並體察自身與時間、環境之間細微而深遠的關係。

Since 2022, Dirk Tsai’s Seascape Series has evolved into a sensory archive of his journeys across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. For Tsai, memory rarely resides in precise, objective details; rather, it is recorded through the humidity, light, and chromatic temperature of a given moment. Inspired by Rainer Maria Rilke’s notion of Weltinnenraum (“world-inner-space”), Tsai conceives painting as an intimate act of respiration—where the external world is absorbed into the body, intertwined with memory, and ultimately distilled onto the canvas. Here, the boundary between the internal and external dissolves; painting ceases to be a mere depiction of scenery, becoming instead a record of how the world is internalized physically and subsequently articulated through emotion.
